Product Description

The 45 Bend Raw Steel Plumbing Pipe Wall Light is a handmade outdoor wall light made from raw black steel plumbing pipe and cast fittings, with a solid brass lamp holder and a 250mm hooded steel shade.

Its long 45° arm spreads light widely, so it suits a deck or a large staircase. It gives a more traditional look where you might otherwise use a floodlight.

It has an IP44 lamp holder containment system and fixes to the wall with a cast flange, so it can be mounted on any surface. Each light is made by hand to order in our Melbourne workshop. Precision parts and careful assembly make it strong enough for commercial as well as home use.

Shades

Choose the shade from the Hooded Lamp Shade Colour menu: flat black with a painted white reflector, galvanised with a zinc-plated, clear-coated reflector, or antiqued steel with an antiqued steel reflector.

Outdoor Use

Rated IP44 (protected from splashing water). When installing outdoors, seal behind the wall flange with silicone. If the light will be exposed to rain, choose the flat black shade, as galvanised and antiqued steel shades may rust over time. Raw steel pipe ages and will rust outdoors. Wipe it with linseed oil from time to time to slow rusting, or choose the flat black version.

Voltage

Choose E27 230V (Australia, NZ, UK) or E26 120V (USA, Canada) from the Voltage menu. For 120V we supply a 4″ J-box cover in the same material and finish as the pipe. Our 120V versions use UL-listed parts, but the light itself is not UL listed.
