Vintage Extra Long Billiard Table Light. This solid brass ceiling pendant is designed to light up a large billiard table, pool table, snooker table or dining table. Constructed in solid brass and comes with 4 standard lamp holders.  Some shades also require a brass gallery (see images). Shown in the main picture is the 270 mm antique green dome shade, with bronze hardware finish. 

To Order

Select the main brass hardware colour and shade from the drop down menu. If you prefer a shade that is not listed under the product, select the “no shade” option and then select the shade separately from under the ‘hardware’ section. 

For a 9 foot pool table (snooker table, billiard table) choose the 1536mm extra long pendant light (pictured). For a 12 foot table choose the 1840mm long version. We recommend using the larger shades to suit the proportions of the light. Standard pendant width is 1536mm.

Billiard Table Light Pendant Suspension Drop

Pendant drop rods are threaded to insert the light fitting into the ceiling canopy therefore the required length needs to be specified. Rods are used to eliminate the potential for swaying in areas of high air movement, such as air conditioning or near a doorway. When placing your order you will need to specify the drop length required from the ceiling canopy to the top of the shade. The total pendant suspension drop will then vary depending on the shade you choose. Total suspension drop = (Pendant drop + shade height).  We have included a short list of shades available and their drop dimension listed under “Lamp shade dimensions” tab so you can calculate the total pendant suspension. You can also select no shades option and choose your own shades in 2 1/4″ fitter size or choose bare bulb to add a larger fitter and shade. With a larger pendant drop the bar will be made from more than one components and joined with a decorative coupler.  This enables us to extent the pendant suspension for longer drops and also allow us to dismantle and save on shipping costs. 

Supplied with matching brass ceiling roses. Also available as a 120V version supplied with 4inch J-Box canopies. The ceiling canopies for 120V connection are supplied to connect via standard J-Box mount. For 120v requirement choose E26, for 240v requirement choose E27. Note that for E26 120V lighting, UL listed components are used but the light fitting itself is not UL listed.

Shipping and Installation

This billiard table light (pool table, snooker table)  is packed and shipped as separated components to adhere to local and international shipping requirements. 

Glass shades are always packed separated from heavy brass items. All shades and ceiling plate components are packed detached. Extra length lights are often sent as two separated lengths that simply require screwing together prior to installation. Your electrician can refer to the image reference online. 

Only fix the shades in place once the light is fully installed.  A range of shades are available or supply your own. 

Install pendant around 32 inches above table surface for the best lighting for pool, snooker or billiards. When selecting shades for a billiard, pool or snooker table  we recommended metal shades to reduce player eye glare. Another option for full sized tables is to install two shorter lights side by side across the table.

Finish options:

The Extra Long Billiard Table Light is available in the following finishes; new brass, antique brass, bronze and nickel plated. Shades available in various materials and finishes. Some shades have a white, or off-white reflector and some have natural metal colour. Refer to “Metal Shades” list in hardware.

Antique brass and bronze hardware is coated so that it will not tarnish but will require cleaning with a non-abrasive furniture polish. The New Brass finish of the lamp hardware is polished but not clear coated so it will tarnish naturally and will require polishing with Brasso® to maintain its high gloss finish. 

Globes :

A range of E27 globes fit this light fitting. Globes are not included. Recommended globes are listed below for 270mm dome shade style.
