Russian Insulator CD 638 240V E27 Pendant Light. This is an upcycled Chinese-made power cable insulator wired with an E27 lamp holder and chain hook.

This is a high tension cable insulator normally used on very tall power grid towers. This insulator design was originally made in Soviet Union by the LVIV INSULATOR PLANT started in 1965 and later became the LVIV INSULATOR COMPANY in Lviv, Ukraine in 2002. These insulators weigh in at around 1 kilo so they are expensive to ship and can be supplied with a chain mount in addition to a top hook for ceiling mount. Due to the fact that these insulators are still in manufacture they are able to be sourced with some confidence from suppliers in China.

These insulators weigh around 1 kilo so require a chain and ceiling hook for hanging.

When selected as 120Volt version the pendant will be manufactured using  UL Listed E12 Bakelite socket and cable, and a 4″ J-Box canopy can be supplied
