Product Description

The Large Outdoor Plumbing Pipe Straight Arm Wall Light is a large handmade wall light made from 1″ steel plumbing pipe and cast fittings, with a solid brass lamp holder and a large factory dome shade.

It fixes to the wall with two cast iron flange plates, so it can be mounted on any surface. Each light is made by hand to order in our Melbourne workshop. Precision parts and careful assembly make it strong enough for commercial as well as home use.

Shades and Cage

Choose the shade from the Shade Type menu: enamelled green dome, painted black dome or black shade. The black shades are less resistant to corrosion than the enamelled green, so use them only where the light is under cover.

Choose the cage from the Globe Cage Type menu: no cage (IP44), or a glass enclosure in a polished aluminium or polished brass cage (IP56).

Arm Length

Choose the arm length from the Arm Length menu, from 300mm (pictured) to 900mm.

Outdoor Use

Rated IP44 (protected from splashing water) without the cage, or IP56 (protected from dust and strong water jets) with it. When installing outdoors, seal behind the wall flange with silicone.

Voltage

Choose E27 230V (Australia, NZ, UK) or E26 120V (USA, Canada) from the Voltage menu. For 120V we modify the flange to fit a J-box. Our 120V versions use UL-listed parts, but the light itself is not UL listed.

Finishes

Shown here in galvanised. Choose the pipe finish from the Custom Finish menu: galvanised (standard), flat black painted, brass painted, stripped and rusted, or raw steel oil rubbed (indoor use only).

Globes

Pictured with an LED lantern filament ST64 globe. Takes most standard E27 globes (light bulbs), including LED. Globes are not included; choose them from the globe menu.
