Product Description

The Outdoor Plumbing Pipe Caged Wall Light is a large handmade wall light made from 1″ plumbing pipe and cast fittings, with a solid brass lamp holder inside a 254mm aluminium explosion-proof style housing.

A glass enclosure inside a brass cage protects the globe from water spray at any angle and gives an IP56 rating.

It fixes to the wall with two cast iron flange plates, so it can be mounted on any surface. We make it by hand to order from custom pipe parts and repurposed ship light parts, so each one may vary slightly, for example with small casting marks.

Glass

Choose translucent pearl or clear wobbly glass from the Glass Component Option menu. Replacement glass is also available.

Outdoor Use

Rated IP56 (protected from dust and strong water jets). When installing outdoors, seal behind the wall flange with silicone.

Voltage

Choose E27 230V (Australia, NZ, UK) or E26 120V (USA, Canada) from the Voltage menu. For 120V we modify the flange to fit a J-box. Our 120V versions use UL-listed parts, but the light itself is not UL listed.

Finishes

Shown here in raw steel, oil rubbed (indoor use only). Choose the finish from the Custom Finish menu: galvanised (standard), raw steel oil rubbed, flat black painted, brass painted, stripped and rusted, or made with solid brass pipe.

Globes

Pictured with an LED filament C110 globe. Takes most standard E27 globes (light bulbs), including LED. Globes are not included; choose them from the globe menu.
