Product Description
The Vintage Aluminium Bulkhead Wall Ship Light is an original ship’s wall light with a polished cast aluminium arm and cage, a threaded glass cover and a new solid brass E27 lamp holder. It fixes to the wall with its own wall plate.
The glass is original, wobbly and hand blown. The aluminium has a lovely old cast look and a high-quality restored finish. Each light shows its age, with the odd mark or casting blemish, and the cages in particular have ridges and small marks. This gives every one its own story. The photos show a typical example.
Outdoor Use
The solid brass lamp holder has a special cover designed to IP56 (protected from dust and strong water jets), and the glass and cast cage protect the globe from water spray. It copes with exposed spots outdoors if it is mounted with the cage facing down and the wall plate is sealed to the wall with silicone.
Wiring
We supply an earth point so the casing can be connected to earth. Supplied for 230V only.

Vintage Ship Lighting
Our vintage ship lights are original fittings from ships broken up for recycling at the large ship breaking yards in Bangladesh and India. Takes a standard GLS-shape E27 globe (light bulb), including LED. Globes are not included.

The Bulk Head ship light’s are heavy duty and true to the picture on the web-site, so I’m sure they will see us out. We havn’t yet installed them; however, based on our experience so far, we are more than happy to recomend this light and Edison Light Globes.
