Large Braced Brass Plumbing Pipe Billiard table light. This light fitting is perfect to light up a regular or full size billiard table (pool table, snooker table). It is also great over a large dining table, bar or kitchen bench light.

Solid Brass lamp holders attach to the fitting via special (one inch) 25mm diameter solid brass plumbing pipe hardware. 

This Large Braced Brass Plumbing Pipe Billiard table light features 3 large steel shades that are 360 mm baked enamel steel. There are a number of other shades that fit this light.  To choose a shade not listed select the “no shades” option when ordering then select a shade from our larger non gallery type shades. Add three shades as a separate cart item.

Industrial plumbing pipe design based on an original farm made fitting from the early 1900’s. Secures to the ceiling via solid brass pipe and cast brass flanges which are also the wiring points.

This particular light is best suited to a room with at least 10 foot (3.0M) ceiling height or more. See gallery image. The design requires a drop of at least 950mm from ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend to hang this light around 32 inches above the table surface for best lighting for pool, snooker or billiards. Shaded metal shades are a better choice over game tables to avoid player eye glare.

This light fitting weighs around 15 kgs therefore a secure mount is required in the ceiling cavity.

Options

Available finishes are galvanised, rusted, raw steel oil rubbed or flat black. The rust finish will continue to age slightly but a coating of “Penatrol” will seal in a darker rustic finish. Let us know if you want this to be done.

Any E27 bulb, including LEDs, can be used. With a large shade and a brightest LED in vintage look we recommend the 11 watt C100.

Shipping and Installation

This billiard table light (pool table, snooker table)  is packed and shipped as separated components to adhere to local and international shipping requirements.

Glass shades are always packed separated from heavy brass items. All shades and ceiling plate components are packed detached. Extra length lights are often sent as two separated lengths that simply require screwing together prior to installation. Your electrician can refer to the image reference online.

Only fix the shades in place once the light is fully installed.
