Product Description

The Replica Plumbing Pipe Gas Light recreates the coal-gas lights used in service rooms in the early 1900s. Solid brass E14 lamp holders sit above 3″ hurricane galleries and hurricane lamp shades. Use it over a kitchen table or bar, or as a feature ceiling light. It hangs from a steel pipe and flange, which is also the wiring point. Each light is made by hand to order in our workshop. Precision parts and careful assembly make it strong enough for commercial as well as home use.

Dimming and Voltage

Choose from the Voltage menu: brass E14 12V (with a 1-10V dimmable driver), brass E14 230V, or Bakelite E12 120V (USA, Canada). Pictured with the dimming lever and control chains, which work with the 12V option and 12V E14 candle LED globes. A red tap can also control dimming at 12V. At 230V or 120V the tap or lever is decorative only; dim the light with a wall dimmer (not supplied). Choose a red tap, the lever and chains, or a plugged tee from the Pendant Tap menu.

Options

Enter the drop you need in the Pendant Drop Length box. Choose the pipe finish from the Custom Finish menu: galvanised (standard), raw black steel (pictured), flat black, or stripped and rusted. The rusted finish is sealed with Penetrol, which gives a darker, smoother rustic look; it may still age slightly over time. Choose from two glass shades in the Lamp Shade Option menu.
