Product Description

Vintage grey ceramic short insulator table lamp 240V switched with 3 pin plug and 1.5 m cloth cable. This Vintage Ceramic Insulator table lamp uses an up-cycled ceramic 3 phase power insulator in a gloss light blue glaze as the base, with a brass E27 240V lamp holder securely mounted inside the old pin thread. It is the perfect lamp to show the beauty of our larger Edison bulbs. This ceramic insulator was made in Japan in around 1960 and has been exposed to the elements atop a power pole somewhere in Australia. It has some signs of age with a few stains and scuffs. We soak in Caustic to remove as much grime as possible but they still retain evidence of their age. Because this lamp has a low center of gravity it can display quite a large globe. We have a range of particularly odd shaped large globes coming soon for this lamp in particular.

The locking mechanism of our E27 240V brass lamp holder means the body cannot be unscrewed accidentally when changing the bulb. Under the large insulator we have included a cable grip. This lamp is a great addition to any side table and a perfect decoration as a bedside lamp.

The lamp comes with a black inline switch and 3 pin plug with an option of different brass hardware color and a range of cable colors to choose from. We can make as 120Volt for USA/Canada from parts that are UL Listed.

You use any of our E27 240V bulbs  such as our large CT120 Vintage LED’s pictured. New soon is the large disc tube shaped spiral LED filament.

Globes are not included but recommended globes are listed below.
