Product Description

The Polished Brass Straight Arm Wall Mount Shade is a solid brass wall light with a straight arm that holds the shade out from the wall.

It has a ceramic insert, insulated thread and screw terminals, and comes with a threaded hollow arm and a wall plate. A locking mechanism stops the lamp holder unscrewing by accident when you change the globe.

Choose an arm length of 152mm (pictured) or 203mm from the Total Arm Length menu.

Each light is made by hand to order in our workshop. Precision brass parts and careful assembly make it strong enough for commercial as well as home use.

Shades

Choose your shade from the Shade Type menu. Each shade is shown in the photo when you select it. The shade fits the lamp holder with a 2¼” gallery. The solid brass arm can hold a glass shade of around 0.5kg, so if you use your own shade, make sure it is not too heavy.

Prefer your own shade? Choose “No Shades” from the menu, or use a steel no-gallery shade, which attaches without a gallery.

Voltage and Wall Plates

Choose your setup from the Voltage menu: E27 230V (Australia, NZ, UK) with a 66mm wall plate or a 90mm wall plate; or E26 120V (USA, Canada) with a plate to suit a 3″ or 4″ J-box. You can also order 120V versions from our USA website.

Finishes

Shown here in Polished Brass, also known as New Brass. Choose your finish from the Final Finish Type menu: polished and lacquered, which won’t tarnish (clean it with a non-abrasive furniture polish); polished and not lacquered, which tarnishes naturally over time (polish it with Brasso® to keep the shine); or brushed and not lacquered. This light is also available in Antique Brass, Bronze and Nickel.

Globes

Pictured with a vintage filament ST64 globe (light bulb). Takes most standard E27 globes, including LED. Globes are not included; choose them from the globe menu.
