Green Mirror X-Ray Shade Booth Pendant. These are two matching genuine antique X-Ray reflectors with a silvered glass pattern inside and a green coloured outer surface.
These original “X-Ray” brand reflectors were made in the USA about 8o years ago. They were designed to be used as high intensity shop fittings where a strong reflector was required. Older style bulbs were not as intense as modern bulbs, and so these shades provide a high degree of reflecting capacity. A specially designed coating protects the silver finish.
There is some degradation of the silvered surface and some chipping from age. The mirrored surface gives the light a very distinctive look and given that the shades are around 80 years old, they are in good condition.
We have only a few pairs of these at any one time, but we are always endeavoring to source more.
Supplied with two filament LED’s to match however any E27 bulb will fit.

The solid brass light fitting suspends the shades with twin arms and a solid brass hub. The light fitting is available in various finishes.
