Product Description

The Plumbing Pipe Caged Pendant Light is a cable pendant with a turn-of-the-century industrial look: a solid brass lamp holder in plumbing pipe fittings, inside an enclosed metal cage. A cord grip stops the cable being pulled from the lamp holder. It comes wired and assembled, with an earthed lamp holder and metal parts.

The cage is held by two screws, which you remove to change the globe; turn the power off first.

Options

Choose the cable from the Cable Colour menu, which offers a wide range of braided and pulley cables, and the drop from the Cable Length menu (1.5m standard, or 0.5m to 10m). Choose the finish from the Alternate Finish menu: galvanised (standard), or raw black steel, flat black, brass painted, or stripped and rusted, each with a matching cage. The rusted finish is sealed with Penetrol, which gives a darker, smoother rustic look; it may still age slightly over time. Add a cast ceiling rose (galvanised, rusty steel, black iron or aluminium, each suiting a 4″ J-box) from the Add a Ceiling Rose menu. To hang it from a chain hook, choose a hook-top conversion (lamp holder only, or lamp holder and ceiling plate) from the Hook Top Type Conversion menu.

Voltage

Choose E27 230V (Australia, NZ, UK) or E26 120V (USA, Canada) sockets and wiring from the Voltage menu. Our 120V versions use UL-listed parts, but the light itself is not UL listed.
