Replacement Polycarbonate tube for retro fitting for vintage ship lights where the glass component has failed.

Since vintage ship light often contain specialised glass tube, a breakage to these components is a challenge since spare parts re no longer manufactured or available. Replacement Polycarbonate tube is not only a permenant un-breakable fix for these lights, they are also a lot lighter to ship and then hang in place.

These are all 130mm OSD to fit the tube lights listed on our website.

Generally these are in two different lengths but supplied over length so that an exact match can be cut.

These vintage ships lights are made for 2 foot flourescent tubes or 4 foot. We will supply at length for either of these basic tube lengths.

Polycarbonates (PC) are a group of thermoplastic polymers containing carbonate groups in their chemical structures. Polycarbonates used in engineering are strong, tough materials, and this grade is optically transparent. They are easily cut, molded, and thermoformed.
