Product Description

Twin Russian Insulator Wall Light, with nickel plated brass body fitting and two E14 lampholders. Comes with 1/2″ threaded hollow arm and wall plate for installation to a wall surface. The large pin insulators are genuine Chinese made for Russian power grid. These can be ordered as fluted clear or green or larger clear type insulator.

This is a high tension cable insulator normally used on very tall power grid towers. This insulator design was originally made in Soviet Union by the LVIV INSULATOR PLANT started in 1965 and later became the LVIV INSULATOR COMPANY in Lviv, Ukraine in 2002. These insulators weigh in at around 1 kilo so they are expensive to ship and can be supplied with a chain mount in addition to a top hook for ceiling mount. Due to the fact that these insulators are still in manufacture they are able to be sourced with some confidence from suppliers in China.

Wired with 3 core cable in braid and a brass plated E14 lampholders, the bulb fits just inside the glass.
For 120Volt use we use an E12 Bakelite socket, wiring and 3″ or 4″ J-Box cover. Components are UL Listed but the whole pendant is not.

Globes required for this fitting are smaller E14 style. Photograph shows Small Edison LED
